Before Arrival
The following is a list of information you need to bring with you if you are coming to sign up with us.
1. Tax File Number
For International Jobseekers: Once you have your work visa, you can apply to receive your Australia Tax File Number. This is a requirement in order to work in Australia. Taxes are to be paid on all of your earnings. These are collected by us and submitted to the Australian Taxation Office. If you do not have a Tax File Number you will be taxed at the highest rate. A Tax File Number is easily obtained from the Australian Taxation Office. For more information please look at their website www.ato.gov.au.
2. Bank details
This includes which bank as well as your BSB and account number.3. Superannuation details
This includes the name of the fund and your membership number.For International Jobseekers: Superannuation is like a retirement fund. In Australia it is compulsory for your employer to pay 9% on top of your wage into a fund for you. You can access the money in this fund once you've left the country. It is beneficial if you have a superannuation fund already set up however if that is not possible we will help you get one during the induction process.
4. Drivers Licence
If you have a drivers licence you should bring it with you.
5. Resume
If you haven't already sent us your resume/CV you should also bring this with you.
International Jobseekers
In addition to the items listed above you must also bring the following:
1. A valid passport
2. Evidence of your Working Visa
In order to work in Australia, it is compulsory that you hold an Australian Passport or an Australian Working Visa. You will need to allow several months for the application process for getting your working visa. You will need to contact the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs for more information which pertains to your country of residence.
